There is so much more to Shadowacre German Shepherds than
these great dogs... We are, simply,
animal lovers!!
We are located on 1.25 acres in the hills of the Fraser Valley in
British Columbia, Canada; very near the ocean on the West Coast.
We originally began our GSD endeavors in Red Deer, Alberta, a
small city by most standards, moving to the Fraser Valley in
the
fall of 1992. We love it here, and plan to stay.
Currently, the human Madlung Family consists of Hank and I, and
youngest son D.J (also know as "The Kid"-D.J. is our resident
computer expert. God help me when he leaves home!!) Our 2 older
children, daughter Brandi, also livesout here with us.
The boys are not doggy orientated.. preferring
reptilians and fish. Brandi is like her mom and dad.. into animals of all kinds!!

Bobby is an African Grey parrot, and taaalks, taaalks, taaalks!!
Brandi's dog "Jordan" the Welsh Terrier,
or "Terror" as we call him!
"Sam" is a Red Eared Slider and is 9 yrs old. D.J got him for Christmas the year
we moved here, and Sam was only 1 1/2" across. He is now about 10" and
we hope as big as it gets!!!
